The basketball tournament, "University of Bath Cup," organized by the SQA project at Jinan University, has recently commenced. The event is hosted by the University of Bath in the UK, with Jinan University's SQA project taking on the organizing responsibilities. The University of Bath, established in 1852, boasts a rich history of 171 years and is located in the renowned tourist city of Bath, the only city in the UK listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. With numerous students from more than 40 countries, the university provides a distinct British atmosphere, excellent English language environment, and high-quality education.

According to Professor Song Wei from Jinan University, the basketball tournament aims to enhance students' team awareness, encouraging them to showcase the vitality and personal charm of university students. Professor Tang Chenming from the University of Bath hopes to bring sports activities to the campus, emphasizing the importance of students prioritizing their safety during the competition.

In the preliminary rounds, teams displayed passionate and fearless competition, engaging in thrilling matchups. The semi-finals saw second-year teams competing against third-year teams, featuring intense battles of serving, dribbling, passing, stealing, and challenging.

With the sound of the whistle, the center-court jump ball marked the beginning of rounds of offense and defense. The players' coordination, determined steals, and counterattacks created a spectacular scene on the basketball court. Each successful score was met with cheers, creating waves of enthusiasm, and the resounding cheers echoed through the arena.

"Sports represent youth, health, and vitality, affecting people's happiness and the nation's future." Throughout the competition, all players showcased excellent sportsmanship. Regardless of the outcome, each player's spirited determination was their greatest reward.
