Since 2023, Jinan has organized over ten special investment promotion events relying on national and provincial major event platforms, resulting in over 130 signed projects and promoting discussions on over 300 ongoing projects. This year, Jinan plans to hold around 30 domestic and international investment promotion events throughout the year.

These events include key investment promotion activities held overseas as part of the "going global" initiative, such as the planned 2024 Jinan-France Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange in May, the Hong Kong-Macao-Shandong Week in Jinan, and a series of events in Singapore in the second half of the year. Domestically, key investment promotion events will include the Fourth China-Japan Industrial Innovation and Development Exchange Conference, the Fifth Qingdao Summit of Transnational Corporation Leaders during the seventh Shanghai Import Expo, and the planning and organization of investment promotion events in Jinan during these events.

 Among them, the China-Japan Industrial Innovation and Development Exchange Conference, as a brand event for Jinan's dialogue with the world and international investment promotion, has been held for three consecutive years. It has become one of the high-level platforms for Jinan to seize new opportunities in RCEP development. This year's activities will continue to adhere to the principles of "precision, pragmatism, efficiency, and thrift," further optimizing and upgrading, striving to attract more cooperation intentions.

In addition to the above activities, Jinan will organize a series of events around its four leading industries, leveraging its industrial advantages and resource endowments. For example, the World Advanced Manufacturing Industry Conference, the China Enterprise Forum, and specialized investment promotion events for the China-Singapore Green Smart Demonstration Zone in the Jinan Start-up Area. These efforts aim to coordinate investment promotion efforts across the city, jointly promote Jinan's latest cooperation opportunities, gather more resource information, and facilitate the fruition of more projects.
