Laiwu's Tourism Market Thrives during Holiday
The Qingming Festival holiday in Laiwu of Jinan was marked by vibrant cultural and tourism activities, activating consumer spending across the board. Throughout the holiday period, monitored cultural and tourism establishments in the entire district received 83,600 visitors, generating a total income of 2.3757 million yuan.
Diverse Cultural and Tourism Activities
The villages of Heiyu and Tuanshan in Gaozhuang sub-district, renowned for their abundant pear orchards, recently witnessed a blossoming of pear flowers. From April 2nd to April 4th, the first Cultural Tourism Festival and the twelfth Pear Blossom Festival were held in Heiyu and Tuanshan villages. Through a series of events including opening ceremonies, a ten-kilometer pear blossom walk, theatrical performances, singing and dancing to praise the pear blossoms, and agricultural product exhibitions, the festival showcased the new image of cultural and tourism development in Gaozhuang sub-district, enhancing its visibility and reputation.
Tourism Market Flourishes
As spring unfolds, Xiangshan in Laiwu enters its peak season for admiring mountain flowers. Xiangshan Scenic Area launched the "Xiangshan Spring Outing Discount" activity. With the spring breeze awakening nature and everything coming back to life, tourists flocked to Xueye Lake to enjoy the blossoms, taste local delicacies, and experience water sports activities such as sailing and kayaking offered by the "I Love Sailing Club".
Lianhua Mountain Scenic Area and Caishi Stream Scenic Area are also in full bloom, offering half-price ticket discounts to attract many urban residents and tourists for spring outings. Accommodation establishments like Xueye Mountain Villa, Xueye Lake International Conference Center, Xuehu Garden Hotel, and Xueye Lake Holiday Hotel have rolled out dining and accommodation packages, actively integrating with surrounding scenic spots, ecological, and cultural tourism resources to extend the cultural and tourism industry chain.
Qingming is also a time for reflecting on history and honoring the martyrs. Many residents and tourists visited landmarks such as the Laiwu Battle Memorial Hall during the Qingming Festival holiday to commemorate revolutionary martyrs and embrace the spirit of patriotism. Among them, the Laiwu Battle Memorial Hall received a total of 13,200 visitors over the three days.
