Recently, the first "Jinan High-level Caliber Talent Attraction Conference" was held as scheduled at the Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center in Jinan. Over a thousand booths across two exhibition halls were fully occupied, providing job seekers with the opportunity for face-to-face interactions with their desired employers. The mutual enthusiasm for "dual-way pursuit" has provided a broader stage for talent in Jinan.

Donald, a Dutch student currently studying acupuncture and Tuina at Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, attended the recruitment conference with the hope of staying in Jinan. "I really like Jinan. I think Jinan is very beautiful, and I hope to work here," he said.

Donald expressed his desire to find a job related to traditional Chinese medicine, driven by his deep interest in Chinese culture. "I have also studied martial arts and kung fu in the past. After learning traditional Chinese medicine, I have gained a lot. The more I learn, the more I like it. I want to introduce traditional Chinese medicine to more foreigners," he added.

Dou Xiaowen, a Jinan native and a graduate of Nutrition and Healthy Aging from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, especially came to attend the conference. "This recruitment fair brings together many excellent enterprises and institutions, such as universities, middle schools, hospitals, research institutes, and emerging tech companies, providing many quality positions for us graduates to choose from. This aligns perfectly with my career aspirations. Additionally, the continuous optimization and improvement of Jinan's talent policy system fills me with anticipation for developing my career in my hometown," she said.

Dou Xiaowen further highlighted the rapid development of Jinan in recent years, particularly with the construction of the new growth drivers and industrial transformation demonstration area. "Jinan is becoming increasingly international, the employment environment has greatly improved, and the talent policies are more refined. At the same time, Jinan’s urban ecological environment is also improving, making life more convenient. I hope to participate in the wave of development in my hometown, contributing to the city's prosperity and striving to realize my own value."

It is reported that over 1,500 employers participated in this conference, offering more than 26,000 job positions. The event focused on the city's leading industries and key sectors, setting up twelve dedicated zones to facilitate precise communication and matching between talents and employers. A live broadcast zone was also set up, where selected employers showcased their corporate culture, benefits, work environment, and job requirements online, achieving a combined "online + offline" effect.
